GYALSE RINPOCHE
In 1962, the fourth Gyalsay Dechen Lingpa was recognized as the Dharma Prince (Gaylsay Tulku) of Pemaköd by His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche during the Nyingma Kama empowerment in Kalimpong, India. In 1965, he was sent to Mindrolling Monastery in North India for Buddhist studies, later continuing his higher studies under Khenpo Tsundue in Sikkim from 1972 to 1978. From 1978 to 1988, Rinpoche served as Head Khenpo of Mindrolling Monastery.
A renowned scholar and humble practitioner, Gyalsay Tulku Rinpoche is respected across all schools of Tibetan Buddhism for his wisdom, knowledge, and humility. He currently provides spiritual guidance at Migyur Dechen Laytroling retreat in Gyalshing, a sacred site with over 300 years of spiritual history.
