About this Introductory Workshop—
This introductory workshop is about acknowledging the destructive habits of mind and body consciously preventing them, and developing more positive and efficient ways of moving, thinking, breathing, and performing freely without carrying any unnecessary tension.

The training methodology has been divided into three stages—
1. Acknowledgment of physical, vocal tension its relation with the mind and body connection.
2. Dealing with the tension by incorporating ‘Active Breathing Technique’ in a daily life habit.
3. Application
– Encountering the physical tension.
– Understanding body anatomy and a natural posture of alignment.
– Awareness of Individuals’ mistakes in daily life actions like- walking, sitting, and standing.

Takeaways—
• Correction and a practical demonstration of a neutral and natural posture.
• The process of psychological management –
“One action at a time, the habit of a soft-focus, habit of working along with the gravity rather than working against it”.

About the Workshop Facilitator: Prasanna Hambarde is an actor, acting trainer who has done his formal theatre training at the National School of Drama, New Delhi. His area of work is surrounded by subjects such as voice & speech, psychophysical acting, posture & movement awareness, and relaxation.
