Culture: Cultivation of Light – An Exhibition of Paintings by Nicholas Roerich

More than 45 paintings (art prints) will be displayed among the 7000 painted by the famous Russian artist Nicholas Roerich (born 1874 St Petersburg, Russia – died 1947 Kullu, India), who lived in Darjeeling during 1923-1925 and 1928, and whose wife Helena Roerich lived in Kalimpong 1949-1955.
The display will also Include a photo exhibition on the Roerich Pact (1935) in defense of World Cultural Heritage and the Banner of Peace.

Inauguration on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 3:30 pm
Exhibition continues until December 3.
Timings on December 2 & 3: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm | Open to all
