An immersive meditation weekend, followed by a 5-week online Anytime Anywhere Meditation program to explore how we can make every living moment a moment of meditation. Learn how to integrate meditation into your daily life. Infuse yourself with the wisdom and compassion in the tradition of great Indian and Himalayan meditation masters.

Introductory Weekend Workshop

1. What meditation is and isn’t
2. Physical and mental preparation for meditation
3. A look into the awareness, loving kindness, compassion, and wisdom aspects of meditation
4. Guided meditation practices
5. Discussion and Question/Answer
6. Teaching videos of Mingyur Rinpoche
7. One-on-one interview with the guide

This will be followed by 5-week Anytime Anywhere Meditation (online, one session each week followed by self-practice)

Session 1: Overview & Anytime AnywhereMeditation Understand the importance of intellectual understanding, meditation experience, and real-life application

Session 2: Awareness. Understand and experience that the essence of meditation is to be present and aware

Session 3: Love & Compassion. Recognize the subtle innate movements toward happiness and well-being and away from suffering and discomfort within themselves and others

Session 4: Wisdom. Understand the path to recognizing innate wisdom is through seeing reality as it is

Session 5: Bringing It All Together. Experience and embody awareness, love and compassion, and wisdom

Guide: Arun Poudel (Licensed Anytime Anywhere Meditation teacher)
Arun began meditating in his teens, grounding himself in different Indian yoga traditions. After a transformative 10-day Theravada Vipassana retreat in 1996, his journey soon expanded into Mahayana teachings. Meeting Mingyur Rinpoche in 2017 marked the start of his formal Vajrayana training. Arun now leads Joy of Living meditation groups in Nepal and teaches Buddhist philosophy at Lumbini Buddhist University. He also leads the Buddha Prakash Foundation, promoting traditional Buddhist teachings and contemplative practices. Arun holds a Master’s in Buddhist Studies from the University of Hong Kong and lives in Kathmandu with his wife and twin sons.)

The retreat is free open to all, no prior meditation experience is necessary.
